He came to our house, at a time convenient to ourselves to assess our financial requirements for our property purchase. He discussed our options, advised on the mortgage products available, then completed all the forms online and dealt with any queries which arose. He even certified our ID for our solicitor!We felt that his knowledge of the mortgage products was excellent and that without his help we would have had difficulty in obtaining the necessary finance. | Looking to buy a bigger house in these somewhat uncertain times it was with some trepidation that we got in touch with the simplicity team to sort out the finances for our new house once ours was sold. We needed to sort both one main mortgage and a smaller one secured on another house. Rob took us through the pros and cons of fixed/variable rates etc for each and managed to find us a great deal both in the short and long term as we needed different things on each mortgage, which was exactly what we needed. The bank took an age to sort the second mortgage out but throughout we were kept in touch and reassured. At the end I think Nikki was actively chasing things for us four or five times a day for us, which now that we are safely in the new place I can say was great and a real plus point to the service, especially her friendly voice when things were getting rather stressful! Basically when things go wrong, or are being delayed Simplicity are great at keeping you informed, which takes some of the stress out of buying a house. | We are both very happy with the service we have received from Simplicity Finance. Rob Downham arranged our mortgage, home insurance and life cover. He was able to find better products than we could find on the internet and a couple of quick meetings at our home was far easier than speaking to various people on the telephone and chasing the deals ourselves. Our mortgage rate is one of the best around and he helped us complete all the necessary paperwork. The home insurance was far cheaper than our previous company (which I found through one of the money saving sites) and included everything we needed. He gave us a full comprehensive list of life/health insurance policies that we could choose from and helped us to pick the best policies for us. Overall we would recommend Rob Downham and Simplicity Finance as we do not think that we could have found any better products for the money for our mortgage and both types of insurance. | We asked Rob Downham to help us with many issues but to mention just the big ones it was out flat mortgage and occupation cover. In all cases Rob was always open to follow the way of contact which was most convenient for us e-mail, calls or meetings responding straight away. He was in every point ready to understand our needs explain all options and put his view on them not insisting only making matter clear.
